Abuse Happens (Sam)

It’s been a bloody long day- no make that a bloody long week. The job I am working on is hard, hot and the boss keeps giving me a hard time. Not like her in an air-conditioned classroom. I just want to come home, have a shower and a couple of beers. Is that too much to ask?

Before I get in the door, I nearly break my neck on the kids’ shoes lying in the doorway. How many times have I had to put up with her not keeping the kids’ stuff out of my way? Surely it’s not that hard to pick up after them or make them do it.

Calls herself a teacher, why doesn’t she teach them to pick up after themselves, so I won’t break my neck one day? I’ve told her about this before - if she did the right thing, I wouldn’t lose my shit. Now she’s moping around acting like I nearly ripped her head off.
