BINDA REFUGE – Card #1
The refuge is 2 hours away. I can’t believe I’m taking the kids so far from their school and friends during my time of crisis. It doesn’t make sense. The kids are scared and have to share one room. They just want to go home.
Bural has a major role in a big dance festival. She’s angry she’ll miss it. I’m confused and keep remembering the things people said about women who went outside the family for help.
I’m not sure what will happen if I return home to Sam. The longer it takes, the more of a problem it will become. Plus, I only have three sick days left from work.
I hope Sam changes. Last time he tried so hard.
